The Site Vet

Ashley founded The Site Vet in 2019, a peripatetic ophthalmology service which aims to reduce the distance patients need to travel to see a veterinary ophthalmologist and maintain continuity with pet owners and their referring vets.  The service covers all aspects of veterinary ophthalmology and patients can be referred from their first opinion vet to a client where Ashley attends.  Surgery for a wide range of conditions can be performed including for eyelid problems (e.g. entropion, cherry eye, ectropion, complex mass removals) Corneal Surgeries (E.g. Superficial keratectomy, Diamond Burr Keratotomy, corneal grafting for ulcers) Cryotherapy and Electrolysis (Distichea, Ectopic Cilia).

For more information visit www.thesitevet.com. There are a few services not currently offered: BVA eye tests and in-house cataract surgery. Cataract assessment and referral to centres offering this service is performed and covered in the initial assessment.
