Our new Sherborne Practice

The opening of our new purpose-built Sherborne practice is almost here! As we wave goodbye to our old premises, we have so much to look forward to at our new address on Sheeplands Lane.

You can find our new practice at Sheeplands Lane, Sherborne, Dorset, DT9 4FW.

Open Day

Our first milestone will be our Open Day where we will be welcoming pet owners, current and new, to explore and familiarise themselves with our new premises, on Saturday 13th of July. The day will be running during the afternoon from 1 pm – 4 pm, and in addition to having a sneak peek before your pets, you can enjoy:

  • A coffee van and complimentary refreshments
  • A meet and greet with members of our team
  • Exploring our new facilities with short presentations by our team
  • Group tours around our premises
  • Children’s activities to get them involved and excited about learning about pet care
  • Easy pet registration for those wanting to register their pet with our practice

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you all to see what has been our biggest project to date. Shortly after, on July 15th, we’re officially opening our doors and can’t wait to see the first set of paws walking into our new reception area.

New Sherborne Practice

Our new practice was designed with you and your pets in mind. Over the years, we have pushed the boundaries to provide better care for the animals that come to our practice, which has meant that all good things must come to an end. In this case, it was outgrowing our previous Sherborne practice and looking forward to a bigger and better practice, which still offers the same personal experience and exceptional standard of care, but with improved facilities.

Not only is our new practice state-of-the-art, but it is far more accessible in location and also offers significantly improved parking, which we know is welcomed by our pet owners. In addition to 25 parking spaces, we’ve also ensured that cats and dogs have separate areas to cater for their specific needs.

Of course, with substantially larger premises, not only do we now have dedicated office space for our team upstairs, but we also have more rooms to accommodate your pets including 5 consulting rooms, 2 theatres, a dedicated dental suite and our newest addition – our CT scanner. This equipment will allow us to see soft tissue and bones in incredibly fine detail improving both diagnosis and treatment for pets. The non-invasive nature of a CT scanner means that pets are not subject to unnecessary procedures.

Expanding capabilities

This expansion, alongside our team expertise and visiting specialists, means that we continue to bridge the gap between local first-opinion practices and larger referral centres. It means that we can cater for almost every eventuality presented to us as veterinary surgeons, offering you continuity of care from the same team you have come to know and trust without having to travel elsewhere. It also means we have the scope to see pets from other local veterinary practices that require further support in terms of expertise and facilities.

Our practice has evolved from humble beginnings but with expanding experience, ideas and knowledge, we have embraced change along the way. Most importantly to us and our pet owners, we remain committed to running our practice with the same values and philosophy which have carried us through this journey. Remaining proudly independent allows us to do this and ensure we continue to do this, long into the future. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
